Charming French transferware dessert / salad plate discovered at the "Ham and Antique Fair" in the upscale Paris suburb of Chatou. The plate features a center pictorial scene of an architect and craftmen on a job site with a wide floral decorative border and titled below "L'Architecte. This piece is #13 in the Arts & Metiers series by the esteemed porcelain fabricator P&H in Choisy le Roi, France. The mark on the underside suggests manufacture as early as the mid-1800's.
