Stately antique English white ironstone tureen to complement any tabletop pattern. Generously proportioned in an elegant oval shape; double handled pedestal design with domed lid featuring chinoiserie styling. Mark of Furnival & Co. of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England dates the piece to the period of 1864 - 1871.
Dimensions: overall, 14"W x 9.5"D x 10"H (35.6cm x 24cm x 25.4cm) (w/ lid) 6.8"H (17.3cm) (w/o lid).
Very good antique condition; tureen bowl is excellent with no chips, no cracks, no crazing, minor wear on outer edge of handles and utensil marks on inside of bowl. Lid has crazing, a small chip on the underside (not visiblwe when in place) and a hairline crack.
