Lovely early 1900's porcelain match box holder / ashtray advertising Prince Georges Hotel, New York. Lovely for its intended purposed or as a catchall for rings or or small items. White field with Art Nouveau / Art Deco green stylized floral garlands and gilded edges. Marked on the underside with green Limoges France, red wreath-encircled GDA, and L. Barth & Son, New York marks dating the piece to 1901-1914.
Very good antique condition; no cracks, no chips, no crazing. Minor gilt wear and slight misalignment of lettering.
