'Going around under an umbrella interferes with one's looking up at the sky.' - Jerzy Kosinski
I might not sing in the rain with this umbrella but I would certainly dance in the sun! Another personal and exquisite find at a Hamburg antiques fair.
With a beautiful chinoiserie design on linen and radiant gold edging. The carved handle is wooden and is in very good condition with no rips, tears or holes to fabric or metal parts. A theatre piece it opens and closes fine and is wonderful for a special sunny day or a display or background accent piece.
