Add that French "je ne sais quoi" to your decor with these lovely 19th century plates. Discovered at antique markets in Paris and Villeneuve Avignon, these pieces are from the "Cours D'Astronomie Comique" series and have matching designs with center pictorial scenes and art deco / art nouveau borders. From the venerable French pottery house of Sarreguemines, the underglaze marks on the underside suggest mid-1800's to turn of the century fabrication.
