This piece is a large gratin dish with texture in the centre for rubbing garlic. It is perfect for roasting, baking and preparing your favourite recipes straight into the oven and direct to the table!

Located 45 minutes from the Château are the Pottery Not Brothers, a fourth generation artisan pottery studio in Castelnaudary. Transforming local clay into dishes which beautifully travel from oven to table. Every day Jean-Pierre and his son Romain sit behind spinning wheels each in front of their own windows overlooking the Canal de Midi. 

These two exceptional artisans create pottery in all ranges of colours, shapes and sizes. As with all hand crafted pieces there are irregularities, glaze slips, drips and minor bumps and bruises. Making each piece even more charming and unique with its very own personality.
