Antique white porcelain deep plate

Antique white porcelain plate made by The Badonviller factory, an important manufacturer of fine earthenware from the 19th century. Located in Meurthe-et-Moselle, it is one of the many factories in Eastern France that took advantage of the wood resources of the forests of Lorraine for heating the factory ovens. The Badonviller factory merged with those of Lunéville and Saint-Clément in the 20th century.
